"Artist's Statement" of Sorts: (though the project pretty much speaks for itself)

This project is meant to reveal the collage nature of video games. Like other forms of media, just because it is a video game does not mean it is collage, but the medium of the video game has the ability to employ collage techniques effectively.

This website is structured in a similar manner as the MDST 322 Class Website wherein the material is broken up into the same topics as the weekly pages for the course.

The game chosen for this project is Earthbound for the Super Nintendo created by Shigesato Itoi. An overview of the game and why it was chosen can be found in the Introduction, which I suggest you read first. The different topics focus on aspects of design, gameplay, story/characters, the guide that came with the game, with video games in general in the New Media Applications section, and Internet Collage focuses on a website dedicated to the game.
