SpyderMSL: ok so i know he writes from his point of view, and that yeah he
may have the odd socialist principle from time to time. Being somewhat aware
of the directr's other work i know a bit of his stances... However:
This film makes them blatantly obvious. Gordon Geckon has to be the most
over the top evil bastard in the history of cinema. He is an utter stereotype and
all Stone does with him is reinforce the ideas that he has attention defacit. Is he
not aware of how biast and one sided his films are? Or how over the top they
are? Or how evil they make Gecko look with him always hanging in the dark
shadows and randomly annoucning hos hw intherited his wealth???
SpyderMSL: The second you force a viewer to take a side by resorting to
prejudiced representation and blatant digs just because you don't like the
target is for me when a film turns bad because the director is therefore taking
to much control over the freewill of an audience, and by demonising capitalists
so much the film fails on all levels. Had it been a balanced account of the
workings of Wall Street then i would say well done... But because it doesn't
then i can't understand why this film has such a high avergae mark... We only
getting the reactionary members of the left here or something, because that's
what this film is... Reactionary!
